              LOSS / DESTRUCTION OF REGISTRATION           
                                      CERTIFICATE

1. In this case the owner must report it to the Police station in whose 
    jurisdiction such a loss/destruction has occurred.He must also  
   inform the Registering Authority with whom the vehicle is Registered.

2  A duplicate can be obtained by paying the appropriate fee.Fees for
    Scooter/Motor Cycle is Rs. 15/- Fees for Three Wheeler/Four
    Wheeler is Rs. 50/-

3  For getting a duplicate certificate or registration, an application must
    be made to concerned Registering Authority.

4  While applying for duplicate Registration Certificate, Copy of Police
    Report should be attached.

REMEMBER THAT THE REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE IS A VERY IMPORTANT OFFICIAL DOCUMENT. THE SAME CAN BE MISUSED IF IN THE WRONG HANDS.
